Warmth of Winter
The Warmth of Winter Initiative helps foster meaningful connections with local shelters.
Through this series, we also aim to connect with each resident on a personal basis by learning about their ambitions, dreams, and moments that have defined their lives. We also speak with the residents about their struggles and suggestions they have about ways the city and relevant organizations can better meet their needs.
The Process

SHELTER OUTREACH
Conduct interviews to connect with each resident on a personal basis and understand their struggles.

CARE PACKAGES
Donate items that are needed the most by residents of these shelters.

ADVOCACY
Use a multichannel media approach to engage the community and share the stories of the shelter residents.
